About Us
SteelTop Roofing was founded in Charlotte in 2007 by a crew who believed homeowners deserved honest roofing with no surprise charges. We’ve grown to 24 licensed roofers covering Charlotte and 6 surrounding counties. Our specialty is storm damage repair and insurance claim management — we’ve helped hundreds of families get the full repair their policy covers, often at zero out-of-pocket cost beyond their deductible.
How we work
We start by understanding your situation and conducting a free, comprehensive roof inspection — with photos and a written report. If you’ve had storm damage, we document everything your insurer needs from day one.
Based on the inspection, we provide a clear written proposal with fixed pricing and timeline. If filing an insurance claim, we submit all documentation and communicate with your adjuster. Our crew then completes the work using manufacturer-approved materials.
After every job, we do a detailed walkthrough with you, hand over your warranty documentation, and make sure you’re 100% satisfied. We’re available for any questions or touch-ups after completion.
